The Ace Project (Active Children Excel)
The Ace Project was established to provide kids with an opportunity to do what they do best: be kids! They started by launching a tennis camp for students attending Washington Elementary School in Riverdale, IL. The program model was expanded to include homework assistance, nutritional support, academic enrichment, and social-emotional skill building. They are committed to offering comprehensive after-school programs based around tennis and tailored to any student population. They provide 6-8 week programs in the fall and spring at no cost to the school or parents, as well as special opportunities and events in the summer. ACE also equips mentors, tutors, trainers and parents with the tools they need to sustain effective programs within their communities and beyond.
