Serve & Return Chicago was incorporated in January 2020 and is a 501(c)(3) charitable organization.
Serve & Return Chicago was originally incorporated as the Chicago Tennis Patrons on September 26, 1947, and received 501(c)(3) charitable status in May of 1950.
Since its inception, the Chicago Tennis Patrons and now Serve & Return Chicago Board of Directors has been comprised of all volunteers whose primary mission is to solicit funding through various fundraising efforts and distribute the funds throughout the Chicagoland area to support and maintain junior education and tennis programs.
Serve & Return Chicago places a very special emphasis on entry level and grass roots tennis programs for junior players who are at risk and in underserved areas.

The mission of Serve and Return Chicago is to positively impact the lives of children in Chicagoland’s under-served communities through the game of tennis. We believe tennis is an inclusive, life-long source of physical, mental, and emotional well-being. The funds we raise support outstanding youth programs that provide equipment, education, instruction and fun competition in safe environments.
