Testimonials
The grant from the Chicago Tennis Patrons aids in funding our free youth tennis clinics during the summer and indoor during the winter season. This year, we were able to rent courts and also purchase new rackets and supplies for the program participants. Thank you for helping us provide these services to the young people of Maywood and surrounding areas.
THANK YOU Chicago Tennis Patrons! With your generous support, Friends of CICS Tennis has shared our great game with over 600 young players from many underserved Chicago neighborhoods. The Chicago Tennis Patrons has made it possible for Friends of CICS Tennis to offer a community-based tennis program to young players, many of whom have never picked up a tennis racquet. With the Chicago Tennis Patrons generous contributions, Friends of CICS Tennis continues to promote and cultivate young tennis players and build a tennis ‘pipeline’ program which may serve as a gateway to selective high school programs, college scholarships and career choices.
CTP’s grant assistance supports the Barrington tennis community and the ongoing initiatives to build our Midwest YTT and school programs by allowing us to purchase necessary equipment, help with court costs and coaching assistance. Our kids are loving this game and looking good! Thank you Chicago Tennis Patrons!
Thanks to funding support from the Chicago Tennis Patrons, Love To Serve, Inc. was able to implement a new summer tennis program at the new Salvation Army Ray and Joan Kroc Community Center located at 1250 West 119th street on the south side of Chicago. Daily, from 9:00am to noon, our teens assisted our tennis pro’s with teaching tennis to 225 summer camp participants, on Monday, Tuesday, Thursday and Friday from June through August. It was a great experience for the community, the Salvation Army and Love To Serve. This program would not have been possible without the financial support from the Chicago Tennis Patrons! Thank you Chicago Tennis Patrons!
With the generous support of the Chicago Tennis Patrons, the South Side Junior Tennis Camp continues to provide 10 & Under curriculum for after-school, weekend and summer programs as well as for physical education classes. The Chicago Tennis Patrons funding has allowed South Side Junior Tennis Camp to provide right-sized equipment and first-rate instruction form trained professionals at a nominal fee to the family. The South Side Junior Tennis Camp players learn sportsmanship, healthy completion, discipline and work ethic while meeting new friends and mentors.
