Serve & Return Chicago History

Serve & Return Chicago was originally incorporated as the Chicago Tennis Patrons on September 26, 1947, and received 501(c)(3) charitable status in May of 1950.

In January of 2020, Chicago Tennis Patrons became incorporated as Serve & Return Chicago and is still a 501(c)(3) charitable organization.

Since its inception, Serve & Return Chicago Board of Directors has been comprised of all volunteers whose primary mission is to solicit funding through various fundraising efforts and distribute the funds throughout the Chicagoland area to support and maintain youth tennis and education programs.

Serve & Return Chicago places a special emphasis on providing access to entry-level and grass roots tennis programs in underserved areas of Chicagoland.
